Al Sharpton is for Obama

Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 10:45:58 PM PDT

I don't know if this is old news or not, and if it is, I'm sure I'll get assaulted in the comments, but I was flipping through the channels and caught a round table on Obama's press conference today with that ageless gremlin Larry King.

After the talking heads finished debating whether Wright would dog Obama going forward (Shockingly it turns out it will, and from CNN of all places, I'm stunned), Sharpton came on, and praised Obama for his leadership and honesty on a subject that is obviously personal and hurtful to him. He then went on to bring up Hagee and attack the bias of the coverage in not reporting on stories like HIS sermons.

He then went on to make it very clear who his Superdelegate vote would go to without actually speaking the words, saying he knew exactly who he was voting for, but wasn't endorsing anyone. After speaking so highly of Obama and not saying a thing about Clinton, it makes it easy to see who that would be.

It was refreshing to see on CNN and I'm glad a national name like Sharpton is talking about it, and bringing it up on a show that amazingly people still watch and find relevant.

I can't seem to find a video, but I'll update if I can.
